John Fineran, Class of '91 John has been active with the Montgomery County Club since 1998. He has been the President since 2000. John is in charge of overseeing that the club runs smoothly and acts as a liaison between the club and the community. During his term the club has been involved in numerous activities to help raise money for charities and increase member involvement. Professionally John is the Executive Vice President of Atlantech Online, Inc. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors on the Maryland High Tech Council since May, 2003. He is also the Chairman for Back to Bethesda www.backtobethesda.org In his spare time John enjoys golfing, traveling, wine tastings and movies. |

Gail Sherman, Class of '70 and '87 As VP, Gail substitutes for the President in case of emergencies for managing and coordinating events and meetings. She also assists in major decision making and helps to direct the Club. She is the liaison between Federal employees and the Montgomery County Club. Gail is a career civil servant, planning to retire from federal service on December 31, 2004. She has been involved in many areas of management, and is currently responsible for the internal training programs and outreach education for the pharmaceutical industry at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research of the Food and Drug Administration. In her spare time Gail enjoys traveling the world. |

Stefan Monica, Class of '75 As the Second VP, Stefan substitutes for the President in case of emergencies, assist in major decision making and directs the Club along with the President. Stefan is also the Head Cheerleader at ALL events!. Stefan has been involved with promoting the interests of Montgomery County Alumni since 1977, and is a career Government Civil Servant, having been in Public Affairs and Television Production with The Departments of Commerce, Defense, the Supreme Court of the U.S., as well as the Food and Drug Administration. He is the current assistant Saxophone leader of the Washington Redskins Marching Band, beginning with them in 1969. Stefan is also the leader of the "B Street Blend," a 6 piece band that has played around the country since 1979. He also DJs weddings, retirements, and has a distinction of being Former Redskins Coach Steve Spurrier's favorite Party Disc Jockey. Stefan's interests include helping the Coaching of youth teams, Antique Cars, and has started a company with fellow Maryland classmate Ed Greene featuring several people as "talent" for voice over narration and speaking parts for advertisements/inserts for industrial and commercial media, both for radio and television. |

Tom Hoarty , Class of 76 Tom has been active in the club since 2001. He manages the club's financial commitments, including the scholarship fund. He cheerfully assists the President in various activities including fund raising for the club, administration and organizational planning, and does lots of volunteer work for club and Alumni Association events. Tom is the chief negotiator for local bars and restaurants for events. Tom is the General Manager of Bethesda Travel Center in Bethesda, and in addition to administrative responsibilities, specializes in organizing custom designed trips to Western Europe (especially Italy), Australia and exotic locations. In addition Tom volunteers for Back to Bethesda. In his spare time, Tom likes reading, live music, food (cooking and dining out) and exploring the delights of Metropolitan DC with his daughters - current Terp Max and future Terp Zoe. Tom is also a hard core Yankee's fan. |

Matt Peery, Class of '00 A recent grad, Matt just started getting involved with the Montgomery County Club this past year. Matt designs, edits and manages the Club website. As the most recent graduate on the Board Matt is also the liaison to the "young alumni" of Montgomery County. After earning his undergraduate degree in Technology and Human Interaction, Matt works at Allegra Print & Imaging in Rockville, MD. In his spare time he is an avid golfer. |
