I would like to welcome you to the University of Maryland Alumni Association, Montgomery County Club's website. Did you know that Montgomery County has over 44,000 Alumni in residence? This is UMD's largest concentration of Alumni in the world!

For the past 8 years our Club has organized events for the purpose of raising money for our scholarship fund, initiated by a generous endowment from one of our alumni, to help deserving Montgomery County students committed to attending UMD. Our many social events, such as game watches, art exhibitions, beer tastings, and ballroom dance classes, have helped raise money not only for our scholarship fund, but also for local area charities. Some of the most recent recipients of our work have been St. Luke's House of Bethesda, the Catholic Youth Charities of Washington (CYO), and Manna of Rockville Food Bank.

Our events are not only designed for fundraising, but also to encourage socializing, business networking and strengthening the bond between Alumni. Representing such a large number of Alumni it is also our goal to help keep the Terps spirit alive.

We are always looking for any assistance or support that you could provide us with so please Register on our site today. Our Club meets on the first Tuesday of every month at the Hard Times Café in downtown Bethesda and everyone is welcome. I look forward to meeting you at our next club event!
